This is a new video I put together of my approx 2000 liter cold saltwater tank in spring after the tank had been nearly dormant during the winter. All of the fish seen in the tank had either spent the winter in the tank or were born in the tank during early spring. The film also shows the fish being fed artemia and red mosquito larvae.

Due to extremely low temperatures in the fjord, from which the water that continually feeds the tank is pumped, I was worried that many of the fish would not survive the winter. With temperatures going as low as 3 degrees Celsius, most of the fish simply disappeared and the tank appeared "dead".
As this video clearly shows they are very much alive and well, and I only have two confirmed losses - as well as one tragic pump accident which claimed another.

Animals are all local Norwegian species and water temperature is ca 14 degrees Celsius at the time of filming.

The small item that can be seen on the right hand side placed near the glass is my sons LEGO figure, which he managed to sneak into the movie. I had not the heart to edit it out.
